Fueling The Economy |
|
The demands of a growing economy are
motivating the natural gas and propane industries to increase
supply. Currently, we are increasing
production by putting new wells near existing wells in many
North American natural gas fields. New production from the
Arctic and the McKenzie Delta area will require substantial
investment. Today’s high prices may be enough to attract that
investment.
In the future, imports of liquefied
natural gas (LNG) will increase substantially through existing
and new import terminals. Additional LNG imports will increase
natural gas supplies, and will also increase propane supplies
because the propane is usually removed from LNG before the
natural gas is sent down a pipeline. An integrated LNG import
facility (regasification plant) can produce propane, natural gas
and electricity.

CALL BEFORE YOU DIG
We will be happy to locate your underground propane line for you - just
call us.
Did You Know?
An odorant is added to propane for your safety. The odorant we add to
propane is the same odorant used in natural gas. It smells like a skunk,
rotten eggs, or bad cabbage, and is there to warn you of a leak.
