Tax Incentives
It does pay to call, e-mail or write your legislators.

Propane has won three important tax incentives in the “Energy Policy Act of 2005”, and the “Highway Bill” which will begin January 1, 2006:

  • A 50% tax credit for the additional cost of a new propane powered vehicle over the cost of a conventionally-powered version.
  • A 30% tax credit up to $30,000 for the cost of installing a retail propane refueling station for propane vehicles.
  • A 50-cent per gallon tax credit for each person who pays the new, higher excise tax on propane motor fuel.

To promote energy savings at home, the new energy law includes tax credits for new and existing energy efficient appliances.

We will be happy to locate your underground propane line for you - just call us.

Did You Know?
An odorant is added to propane for your safety. The odorant we add to propane is the same odorant used in natural gas. It smells like a skunk, rotten eggs, or bad cabbage, and is there to warn you of a leak.
